About Us

Garuda Aviary is a 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization sponsored by Kunzang Palyul Choling, a Buddhist temple in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.  We give homes to abandoned and abused exotic birds, mostly parrots (macaws, cockatoos, African greys) and some smaller birds, such as conures.  Please check out our website for more information and to find out how you can help these beautiful creatures.
